If you have a gift certificate from a Covid-cancelled workshop, please text Bear to reserve your space! 785-393-7370

Where & When

2290 West Broadway in Idaho Falls
(Next to Rocknaks Hardware, west I.F.)
Thursday, January 14th 2021
6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

What to Expect

This project's difficulty depends on your painting experience. We plan to be super casual about it; this workshop is more about relaxation than creativity. After a brief ice-breaker we will settle into our stations and paint along with Bob Ross on a big screen. We will pause every little bit to allow for restroom and wine breaks. Although Bob tends to paint with oils, we will be using acrylics for their affordability, faster drying time, and easier cleanup. You're welcome to bring your own if you have them!

What's Included

  • Wine Tasting (non-alc drinks available)
  • Stretched artist's canvas
  • Paints (optional) - You will be able to take your remaining paint set home, it's yours! Bring it again to future workshops for extra savings.

What's Served

We will be hosting a wine tasting and wine sale tonight! Or, select any other two drinks served in The Hollow (more may be purchased). Choose from alcohol or non-alcohol. (Must be 21 to enjoy alcohol, of course.) You may bring food if you like.

Tools to Be Used (Provided)

  • Easel
  • Brushes
  • Knives
  • Palette
  • Cleaning bucket
  • Apron

Tools You Need to Bring

  • Liability waiver must be signed upon arrival

*Age Restriction

Attendees must be 14+ years for this particular class (all classes are different). Ladies younger than 18 must be accompanied by a legal adult. No children under age 14 may be present in the workshop for this class.

Capacity

Capacity in this workshop is limited to 15 attendees for social distancing purposes. Workshops are hosted in the Bear & Blue space, which is a working creative studio run by a manic artist. So please do not expect a clean, sterile environment. You will be surrounded by works-in-progress for the manufacturing side of the business. We recommend wearing comfy clothes and shoes. Stains are possible with certain projects!

Your Hosts

  • Trish Poulos (trish@bearandblue.com)
  • Ashlee Mulberry (ashlee@bearandblue.com)
  • Kaylene Hunt (kaylene@bearandblue.com)
