Our indulgently smooth olive oil soap is idea for rough skin. Enjoy the homey aromas of yesteryear-Idaho in our carefully crafted aromatherapeutic "Idahome" bars.
Colors and designs may vary between batches. Aromas and ingredients remain richly consistent.
Loaded with essential oils, Lumberjack soap contains an outdoorsy mix of spruce, bayberry, balsam fir, and clove. This smoky, woody blend smells like coming back to a warm cabin with a fresh haul of chopped lumber. It's a strong and pleasing aroma for both genders. Of our whole Idahome collection, this is Bear's favorite. She can sometimes be seen walking around the workshop holding a fresh-cut bar to her nose. It reminds her of a comfy remote lodge.
The key ingredient in our smooth soaps is olive oil. With 20 years of experience, wonderful local soap-artist Trisha Trout believes it is the best oil for creating high quality soaps. Olive oil contains three antioxidants, which are said to help protect the skin from premature aging. Handmade olive oil soap feels comforting on the skin. And Idahome soap is superfatted... This means excess oil is stirred into the soap to produce an extra mild, gentle and moisturizing feel.
Small orders of soap bars will likely ship right away. Soap logs may be made-to-order (depending on stock), which require 4 weeks to cure. Please anticipate a wait of six weeks for fresh soap logs to reach you. If this is a problem, send us a note to inquire about stock-on-hand.

What Our Soaps Don't Have:
Help your olive oil soap bar last longer: keep it out of standing water. Our soaps smell great and look fun, but taste bad. Do not eat. Avoid eye contact. Please use caution upon first use of any skin product. It is possible to develop a new allergy to any ingredient. We cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions.
