Huckleberry is native to the wilds of Idaho and extremely difficult to cultivate domestically. That's why the tiny delicious berries have been a unique staple of Idaho baking & making for two hundred years. Huckleberry hunters spend whole days sitting in the wild bushes, staining their fingertips and competing with bears for the sweet treats. The scent is truly rare; you won't find a real huckleberry aroma from many body product suppliers.

The key ingredient in our smooth soaps is olive oil. With 20 years of experience, wonderful local soap-artist Trisha Trout believes it is the best oil for creating high quality soaps. Olive oil contains three antioxidants, which are said to help protect the skin from premature aging. Handmade olive oil soap feels comforting on the skin. And Idahome soap is superfatted... This means excess oil is stirred into the soap to produce an extra mild, gentle and moisturizing feel.
